Citizens or permanent residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to sponsor their parents and grandparents for Canadian permanent resident status.
There is an annual quota for applications under the program, and new applications are usually accepted from January 1 of the current year until the quota is full.
If you want to sponsor your parents and grandparents to Canada, it is recommended that you prepare your application materials at least a few months in advance so that you can submit your application as soon as the application opens to maximize your chances of obtaining an immigration place.
As a sponsor, you need to provide proof of financial guarantee and prove to the Canadian government that you have the ability to support your loved one's long-term living in Canada. From the submission of the immigration application to the approval of the family, the total income of each year must meet the government requirements for the income standard, otherwise it is not eligible for application.
