Canada Maple Leaf Card and Edit

The Canadian Permanent Resident Card (also known as the Maple Leaf Card) is valid for five years, and permanent residents are responsible for ensuring that their Maple Leaf card is legally valid at the time of entry to Canada. The renewal of the Maple Leaf Card should ensure that the applicant is already a permanent resident of Canada and is in Canada at the time of application.

Maple Leaf Card Edit details

To maintain permanent resident status, applicants need to have spent at least 730 consecutive days in Canada in the past five years. Time spent outside the country can also be counted up to 730 days, depending on the applicant's employment status and co-resident status.
