Temporary Entry Visa

Chinese passport holders, even if they have a valid study permit or work permit, must also have a valid temporary entry visa to enter Canada.

Holders of a study or work permit may apply to renew their temporary entry visa from within Canada. In order to facilitate applicants in Canada, in 2013, the Immigration Department added a new way to apply for temporary entry visa online, which will greatly shorten the processing period after pre-examination and then submit the passport.
